Very cute cottage set in lovely private gardens. Everything you could need in the cottage right down to complimentary port and chocolate
Huge spa bath but unfortunately the hot water ran out before it was full.
He oldie world charm
Wonderfully friendly, helpful staff. Delightful cottage set in lovely grounds.
Noise from highway at night.
We liked the seclusion and being in a private location, but with breakfast easily available in the cafe. We loved the gardens and the alpacas, the wild birds were a joy to watch. We loved sitting on the veranda and watching the wildlife in the garden
The bed was comfy but a tad on the small size, the sliding door to the bathroom kept coming of its runner
Very quaint place to stay and near to town centre. Owner had thoughtfully put lights on and heating on in preparation for our arrival.
The whole ambience of the property. The cottages are so gorgeous to look at from the outside and amazing when you go in. The gardens are so lovely too. The spa is one of the biggest we have seen.Bathroom facilities were terrific. Could not fault this property.
The cottage was fresh and clean, had everything we needed, was very warm for a winter escape. The owner was very friendly and helpful.
It would have been good if our price included hot breakfast, Booked.net doesnt include this.
They were very cute and cosy and had a great location.
Personalised service, lovely complimentary food, alpacas in the paddock outside my balcony (which you are allowed to feed), very comfy accommodation met all my requirements. A beautiful garden, quiet location but only 5 minutes drive to the centre of Port Fairy. Oh, and complimentary port, chocolates, good tea and coffee were also appreciagted.
Clonmara Cottages are located on the outskirts of Port Fairy in a rural setting with curious alpacas in the next field. Arrondoon is a beautiful two bedroom cottage with comfortable furnishings and all modern conveniences. It has a lot of old world charm and the owners are friendly and welcoming.
Really nicely maintained, great facilities in the cottage and a lovely garden outside. Having complementary chocolates and a small decanter of Port was a very welcome additional touch. Although the cottages are on the edge of the town I would def recommend them for anyone doing the Great Ocean Road.
If you want piece and quiet and love the country side with just the sound of the birds, this is the place for you. Older style cottages. Loved it!!
Comfortable and welcoming environment. Feeling of being in the country with paddock and alpacas viewed from balcony. Nice and private. Replenishment of lolly jar, port and chocolates on a daily basis was appreciated. Our privacy was respected, and we were unaware of there being other visitors, although they were definitely there judging by the cars in the carpark. Pleasant gardens.
The spa bath was spacious and clean. However for someone like myself with a bad knee, it was a bit difficult to get in and out of - grabrails would have helped. I tend to travel with my own rubber bathmat to assist with security of balance in showers and baths, and found this helpful in the spa bath. Perhaps a rubber bathmat could be included as standard by the proprietors - not everyone would use one, but it would provide added safety to those who prefer it.
The owners were very helpful and friendly. The cottage was nice and comfortable and we particularly enjoyed having the outdoor courtyard area. THe gardens were perfect for our 2yr old to have room to move and play.
